June 2022 Open House Announcement
Our open house on Saturday, June 11th will be a great time to see Hanover Reserve back in all its glory.
According to the calendar, the first official day of spring this year was March 20th. If you live in southwestern Ohio and are familiar with our weather, it might seem like mother nature missed that memo. While one day can be full of sun and warmth, the next may find skies full of dark clouds, and blustery winds with a mixture of freezing rain and snow. Whether you love cold weather and enjoy bundling up, sitting beside the fire drinking something hot from your favorite mug, or you dream of sultry days lounging beside the pool or the beach beneath the shelter of a large umbrella, we can all probably agree that springtime is an appealing time of the year. Full of the promise of rebirth and renewal, springtime air seems to crackle with excitement and life.
And that’s certainly true with things here at Hanover Reserve!

From the moment the dust settled after the fire in October, the building and grounds have been full of people working diligently toward the same goal: getting Hanover Reserve rebuilt and ready to host weddings, receptions, and other important events. From the very first possible moment, our contractors and suppliers have been on the site every day that the weather would allow. Reconstruction efforts began in earnest in mid-January. Despite the cold and inclement weather, the damaged sections of the roof and other areas were removed. Once completed, new roofing materials were installed and the building was under roof and dry in the second half of February. During the last week of February, Hanover Reserve began conducting tours for prospective clients. Since then we’ve had well over sixty tours.
That’s an average of over seven and a half tours a week!
Every day couples reach out to us inquiring about dates and requesting tours. Every week brings us closer to our re-opening, and more and more clients booking with us and reserving dates for their special events. Our calendar is filling up fast. After touring the building, many couples book with us despite the reconstruction not yet being completed, because they can see the beauty in the walls of the venue behind the scaffolding, the sounds of saws, or the glare of construction lighting. With that in mind, we have some more big news to share with you all!
Announcing the Grand Re-Opening Open House Saturday June 11th!
Maybe you’ve been interested in possibly having us host a wedding or reception or another event for you? Maybe you know someone who has an upcoming event that would be perfect for our venue, but you’re just not sure if it’s the right place. Or maybe you’re just interested in seeing the amazing restoration. Well, there’s good news. On Saturday, June 11th, Hanover Reserve will be hosting an open house. Everyone is invited to come out, walk the grounds, see the venue, speak to vendors, and ask questions of our wonderful staff to see if Hanover Reserve is the right place for that special event for you or a loved one. There are many more details to sort out, and Hanover Reserve will be posting all the information on the open house as soon as it’s available right here on our website. So be sure to check back often, or follow our Facebook page. The open house will be a great chance to see the miracle of Hanover Reserve’s restoration just before she reopens, because the very next day, Sunday, June 12th, we will be hosting our first event! What an exciting time.
But that’s not all that’s been going on. News of Hanover Reserve’s rebirth has spread by just about every local news agency, newspaper, website, and more. The immense groundswell of support has been staggering to all of us here at Hanover Reserve and the Barnes family in particular.

Are you considering a June Wedding?
Everyone loves a June wedding. There’s just something special about June that makes you think of weddings. The reality is, June dates are hard to come by unless you’re planning years in advance. But there’s good news. Hanover still has one open date in June 2022 and we’d love to host your event here. Sunday, June 19th is still available, so be sure to reach out to us and fill out an inquiry and let's get the ball rolling on your special day!
